Christopher Toomer
Founder & CEO of Goal Mind Management!
Christopher Toomer was born and is a current resident of Ocean-Hill Brownsville, Brooklyn. Chris graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School and later continued his studies and graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2013. After graduating from Quinnipiac, Chris joined Ernst & Young where he worked hard for 4 years and climbed the corporate ladder to Experienced Senior. Chris transitioned to work for an international consulting firm. Chris brings 10 years of accounting, consulting and business experience. He has also traveled to various locations serving clients nationally and international.
Chris is currently serving as Chairperson of the Economic Development Committee, and has been an active and dedicated board member of Community Board 16. He also serves the Vice-Chair of the Neighborhood Advisory Board 16. He has been involved in community drives, and programs throughout Ocean-Hill and Brownsville and New York City. Most recently, throughout the city shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he partnered with various organizations, being was a resource and readily available to volunteer and assist in providing his community with food and necessary survival supplies.
Chris has been a mentor and is on the New York Leadership Board for IMentor organization for the last 9 years. He serves as a formal and informal mentor for young men and women throughout the community. He has served as a member, for the last 9 years, of the National Association for Black Accountants (NABA). He has been an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc for the last 12 years. As a member of this historically black fraternity, he mentors and helps with the fraternity guide right, Kappa League program with the objective to guide young black high school men teaching them life skills and the importance of college. Also, as a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc. Chris participates in community service throughout the city frequently. Chris is also, a member of the Kings County Democratic Committee.
